Tim Gunsolley
Tim Gunsolley, President and Managing Partner
Major Donor Development, Major Donor Events, Board Development, Strategic Marketing

Tim brings over 20 years of experience in non-profit executive management to Elevation Growth Partners. Tim has served as CEO, COO, VP of Development, and other positions of leadership for organizations in fields as diverse as global literature distribution, the arts, higher education, and community organizations. His experience includes integrated marketing strategies, capital campaigns, radio acquisition, volunteer management, relational fundraising, and producing events raising a million dollars.

In the world of non-profit ministries, Tim has been an active speaker and event host for more than 10 years. His non-profit experience has taken him to Brazil, China, France, India, Israel, , the Middle East, the Philippines, and Southeast Asia.

In addition to leading clients through the major gift process, Tim serves as a board coaching helping trustees and CEOs navigate significant issues of policy governance and board effectiveness.

Tim received his M.A. from Columbia College in Chicago and his B.A. from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Il. He’s always open to discussing ministry matters over a game of golf!

Sean Hulin is a global marketing executive with over 20 years of success in strategic marketing & technology.

Sean is successful in shaping and executing long-range vision and strategy, and aligning organizations to create value-focused digital strategies across multiple industries.

He developed and delivered ROI based strategies for numerous companies ranging from startups to Fortune 100. Experience in Digital Marketing, Digital Road Map, Customer Relationship Management, Technology and Business Consulting experience.

Karl Schaller, Partner
Integrated Marketing, Strategic Planning, Brand Development, Product Development

Karl Schaller comes to Elevation Growth Partners with over twenty years in executive marketing and product roles in organizations such as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Xerox Corporation, Tyndale House Publishing, and David C. Cook.

In 1999, Karl helped form The LegacyRoad Group marketing agency. There, among other roles, he served as chief marketing officer for the product divisions of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Campus Crusade for Christ. Karl has pursued graduate study and degrees from Loyola University of Chicago, Wheaton College, and The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business focusing on marketing and strategic planning.

Karl specializes in integrated marketing, strategic planning, brand development, and product development for Elevation Growth Partners.

Dusty Rhodes, Senior Vice President/Partner

Having served as an executive and fundraising practitioner most of his career, Dusty Rhodes can relate to the challenges organization leaders face each day. He understands the realities of trying to lead others through the operational, cultural and budget challenges while also wanting to hold the mission high.

Dusty personally offers results-oriented counsel in development and marketing strategies and in leadership issues.

Areas of expertise include strategic thinking and planning around annual fundraising, major gifts, foundations, radio pledge drives, year end and special need initiatives. Leadership counsel includes coaching, executive team health, workplace culture, change management, and interim executive leadership.

Rhodes serves on the boards of the national Christian Leadership Alliance (CLA – Colorado Springs chapter), his home church, and serves on advisory boards for Rogare, the international fundraising think tank, and for Gifted Coin, a new crowdfunding website.

Peter Schmidt, Creative Director

Peter Schmidt brings over 24 years of design expertise and experience into all his projects and relationships. Schmidt has a passion for great design and helping clients creatively communicate their message and brand in and through all types of various medias.

Peter has both a BA in music (piano music major) and a BA in Visual Communications. The latter from Kendal College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, MI. A student winner of the IFDA 1991 international design competition, Peter spent the next three years on Maui as the creative director of an ad agency and publishing firm. He worked as a designer at Current, Inc., David C. Cook, and Sparrow & Jacobs before serving the graphic and design needs of hundreds of clients.

Peter enjoys the flexibility of working out of his home office. He is inspired by the rugged mountain beauty of living in Colorado. Schmidt is married to Lisa, his wife of 29 years and they have five artsy and musical children.

Vikki Walton, Certified Grants Specialist and Grants Reviewer, Strategist, Trainer

Vikki Walton has worked within the administrative, programmatic and development areas for nonprofits. She has served on boards, and volunteered with various nonprofits and ministries. This broad range of experience allows her to observe nonprofit assets quickly to create successful strategies. Vikki is a Certified Grants Specialist and Grants Reviewer. In addition to extensive knowledge in the crafting of funding materials and proposals, she has experience and expertise in communications and marketing, donor events, outreach, research, and myriad messaging. During the last decade, Vikki has spoken at various conferences and events about fundraising principles, foundations, and research. Vikki graduated magna cum laude from Colorado Christian University with a BS degree in Organizational Management in Christian Leadership.

Shanna Raper, Account Executive, Database Admin, and Project Manager

Shanna joined EGP after serving for more than a decade at a globally known non-profit organization where she managed the Development Operations Team; they supported more than 20 Gift Officers. Shanna was responsible for maintaining the major donor database, and she served as the CRM Business & Data Analyst, helping implement and maintain the marketing automation platform and numerous databases, including Salesforce. Her degrees are in English and Technical Writing. She serves EGP as an Account Executive, Database Administrator, and Project Manager.
